There was a great win for the ladies in the Div 5 FL in Drumbaragh on a cold, wet Easter Sunday morning.
Muireann Nelson got the game started with a point from a free followed closely by a goal from the opposing side. Nelson continued to have a great first half scoring a total of eight points along with Chloe Duffy scoring two points. Dee Forde and Milly Clarke Carolan also got themselves on the score board. There was a strong performance from Alison O’Toole and Forde in midfield, making some super tackles.

Charlie Murray got the second half started with a goal in the first five minutes. There was good hand passing through the middle of the pitch creating points from Cara Ratty, Nelson and Charlie Murray throughout the second half. Another great goal was scored by Clarke Carolan giving O’Mahonys the lead. Aileen Falahee and Julia Collins impressed in defence to get O’Mahony’s over the line.
